«ARMTROPHY ORIENTING» 2018 Offroad Competition

On December 2nd, 2018 the long-awaited «ARMTROPHY ORIENTING» 2018 OFFROAD Competition has been organized by the Off-Road Club of the Automobile Federation of Armenia. It took place in the surroundings near the village of Buzhakan, Kotayk region.

Participants of the competition were divided into two categories:

  1. Category A – factory condition vehicles («tourist» category)
  2. Category B – vehicles with winch (лебёдка) («prepared» category):

12 sport teams took part in the contest. The above-mentioned competition was headed by Ashot Hovhannisyan, with chief referee – Stepan Martirosyan.

The competition was fierce and passed in uncompromising struggle.

The following sportsmen took prizes:

Category «A»

  1. place – (Jeep Cherokee XJ) Gevorg Yeghyan and Armen Yeghyan
  2. place – (Jeep Cherokee XJ) Onik Zakaryan and Narek Antonyan (second pilot)
  3. place – (Dodge Dakota) Andranik Margaryan and Ashot Margaryan

Category «B»

  1. place – (Suzuki Proto) Narek Hovhannisyan and Gor Hovhannisyan
  2. place – (Jeep Wrangler) Gayos Aghajanyan and Norayr Davtyan
  3. place – (Mitsubishi Pajero) Harutyun Grigoryan and Gor Grigoryan
