On February 7th, 2018 Armenia has become the milestone for FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour. The honor to present it was granted to the French National Team Champion of the World Cup 1998, former football player for «Real Madrid» Christian Karembeu.
In the solemn ceremony of the Trophy transfer have participated the President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, as well as specially invited guests, representatives of the National Assembly, the Government of RA, cultural and sport life, including the Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Mr. Hrachya Rostomyan, the President of Football Federation of Armenia Mr.Rouben Hayrapetyan, the President of Automobile Federation of Armenia Mr. Gagik Aghajanyan.
